Accident Assistance is a feature that detects car accidents and sends help, whether the user is able to respond or not. Accident Assistance was added to State Farm's Drive Safe & Save app to give users an extra level of peace of mind. This peace of mind creates an emotional bond with the product, which in turn builds customer loyalty.
What's the problem we're trying to solve? How can we give State Farm’s customers a reason to use our app and insurance over our competitors. How do we leverage the Drive Safe and Save app experience and give it a unique selling point that separates it from other driving behavior apps.This solution was achieved by researching driving behavior apps, safety apps, as well as looking at closely related experiences. How can we scale or enhance the technology we already have, to add more value to the user experience.
